Clintonville seeking input on its future

The city of Clintonville is seeking input from residents, businesses, visitors and others on how it will look in the future in terms of housing, business development, downtown revitalization and transportation.

In partnership with the Clintonville Chamber of Commerce, East Central Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission and SEH consultants, the city is updating its current comprehensive plan and the Downtown Master Plan.

A public visioning workshop, held in an “open house” format, will be held from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Dec. 6 at the Clintonville Community Center, 30 N. Main St. No pre-registration is required.

Project representatives will walk participants through a series of quick, thoughtful and highly visual exercises to stimulate and document ideas and concerns in topic areas associated with community identity, land use, housing, transportation, economic development, recreation, downtown revitalization and more. The workshop will assist in the initial stages of formulating a vision for how the city will look, function and feel as new development or redevelopment takes place over the next 20 years.
