COACH'S COMMENT: "This is the highest turnout for the track team in years. The track team continues to grow and is a relatively young team. There is only one senior with varsity track experience. The remaining athletes are either participating in their first varsity track season or are underclassmen. Some of the first-time varsity athletes showing very good athleticism and track skills are Kyle Waupoose, Troy Penass, Loretta Menchaca, Sasha Peters, James Pecore, Brett Pecore and Joseph Moses. As a whole, this group of young people reported for track season in better physical condition than any other team in recent years. With the talent and condition of Gordon James and Mylia Olson, it is likely that new sprint record will be set for both the boys and girls."
