TIGERTON The Tigerton baseball team ran up against a tough Three Lakes team Tuesday afternoon falling 20-6 to the visiting team. Three Lakes totaled 16 hits in the game, while Tigerton was held to just three.

Tigerton actually grabbed an early lead scoring two runs in the first inning, but the 2-1 lead would not last long. three Lakes had a huge second inning scoring nine runs to build a 10-2 lead they would never relinquish. Three Lakes added four more runs in the top of the third inning for a 14-2 lead.

The Tigers picked up some offense in the third inning themselves when Alex Lowe hit a three-run homerun as part of a four-run inning. But it would not nearly be enough as Three Lakes added six more runs to its lead in the top of the fourth inning for the 20-6 win.

Ryan Hauser picked up the loss on the mound for the Tigers going five innings and striking out three batters.

The Tigers (1-4, 1-1) will look to rebound from their loss when they travel to play Marathon on a non-conference game on April 10.
