Tigerton stops Iola

Tigerton beat Iola 3-1 in prep volleyball action Monday, lifting the team to a perfect 6-0.<br /><br /><!-- 1upcrlf2 -->Tigerton won in four games (25-14, 25-22, 22-25, 25-21).<br /><br /><!-- 1upcrlf2 -->Tigerton's Erin Ortner had 15 service points and 10 blocks. Tigerton stops Iola

Tigerton beat Iola 3-1 in prep volleyball action Monday, lifting the team to a perfect 6-0.

Tigerton won in four games (25-14, 25-22, 22-25, 25-21).

Tigerton's Erin Ortner had 15 service points and 10 blocks. Emma Ortner had 31 kills and 43 digs. Rachel Robbins had 18 assists.

Last Friday, Tigerton went 4-0 at the Marion Tournament.

Tigerton beat Marion, Menominee Indian, Manawa and Wisconsin Valley Lutheran.

Bonduel volleyball coach Dawn Scheelk was pretty happy Tuesday after the first two games of the quadrangle against Waupaca, Suring and Lena at Bonduel High School.<br /><br /><!-- 1upcrlf2 -->"Dynamite!" Scheelk said.

Bonduel perfect at home invite

Bonduel volleyball coach Dawn Scheelk was pretty happy Tuesday after the first two games of the quadrangle against Waupaca, Suring and Lena at Bonduel High School.

"Dynamite!" Scheelk said. "Things are going well."

The coach had just watched her team beat Waupaca (25-23, 25-16, 25-19) and Suring (25-16, 25-19, 25-16).

Bonduel wound end up a perfect 3-0 after dispatching Lena in three games (25-20, 25-8, 25-18).

Waupaca took second with a record of 2-1, while Suring was 1-2 and Lena was 0-3.

The Gresham/Bowler boys soccer team defeated Phelps 3-0 on the road Tuesday.<br /><br /><!-- 1upcrlf2 -->Gresham/Bowler goalie Walker Miller had four saves. Tom Williams knocked in a pair of goals.

Bowler/Gresham blanks Phelps

The Gresham/Bowler boys soccer team defeated Phelps 3-0 on the road Tuesday.

Gresham/Bowler goalie Walker Miller had four saves. Tom Williams knocked in a pair of goals. Also scoring for Gresham/Bowler was Austin Olsen, with an assist from Christian Haffner.

At the Gresham Wildcat Invite on Saturday, Bowler/Gresham was 2-1.

The Wildcats beat Antigo 1-0, lost to Stevens Point Pacelli 2-1 and won a forfeit against Clintonville.

All of Gresham/Bowler goals were scored by Tom Williams.
