The Lady Chargers beat Stevens Point Pacelli in four games (25-19, 24-26, 26-24, 25-12).

Savanna Vera had 17 kills, while Taylor Resch had 15 kills and 22 digs. Anna Anderson had 11 kills and 10 blocks. Brittany Zblweski had 42 assists, and MacKenzie Brounacker had 26 digs.

Bad start dooms Eagles

<p>The nonconference varsity football game between Menominee Indian and Gillett Saturday in Keshena was almost over before it started.</p><p>The Tigers defeated the Eagles 42-14.</p><p>From a wildcat formation, Brad Mueller took the snap on Gillett's second play from scrimmage and ran 55 yards for the touchdown to put the Eagles in a hole early.</p><p>"Brad's a talented kid," Gillett coach Rick Kamps said.

<p>This time Tigerton doesn't have to share it.</p><p>The Tigerton varsity volleyball team won the Central Wisconsin Conference-10 championship Tuesday night, beating Menominee Indian in three straight sets (25-21, 25-19, 25-17).</p><p>"We were here last year and we ended up having to share the conference," Tigerton coach Glenda Smith said after the game.

Hawks' season ends at regionals

<p>The Shawano varsity soccer team lost to Green Bay Preble in WIAA regional play Tuesday night at Green Bay Notre Dame.</p><p>Preble won 5-0.</p><p>Shawano goalie Mike Meisner had eight saves.</p><p>Shawano ends the season 6-7-1 in the Bay Conference and 6-14-1 overall.</p>

"We were here last year and we ended up having to share the conference," Tigerton coach Glenda Smith said after the game. "So that was our goal, not to have to share it."

Tigerton's Erin Ortner had eight kills and six blocks.

"(Menominee Indian) had a lot of big hitters," Smith said. "Hats off to Erin. She had a super game at the net."
