Parker, Hudson make it two in a row at Shawano Speedway

Paul Parker and Cody Hudson each won their second straight feature events Saturday at Shawano Speedway in the WISSOTA Late Model and IMCA Northern SportMod divisions, respectively.<br /><br /><!-- 1upcrlf2 -->Also, Matt Oreskovich won his first-ever IMCA Modified feature at the Speedway. Brandon Czarapata won the IMCA Stock Car feature. Justin Hirt won the FASTRAK Late Model feature.<br /><br /><!-- 1upcrlf2 -->Joe Reuter jumped out to the quick lead over Justin Hirt, Parker, Troy Springborn and Brett Swedberg in the WISSOTA Late Model feature.

BABA: Tigerton, Neopit moving on in playoffs

BABA: Tigerton, Neopit moving on in playoffs

Neopit and Tigerton advanced to the Badger Amateur Baseball Association (BABA) semifinals with victories Sunday afternoon.

In the Eastern Division, Neopit held off Clintonville 6-5 as the Chiefs rallied from a 5-3 deficit with three runs in the seventh to earn the victory.

Anthony Leeman earned the win for Neopit, while James Watcher took the loss for the A's.

Despite losing one of the area's best running backs last year in Ben Tauchen, the Bonduel football team came out charging on the ground Friday against nonconference foe Crivitz.<br /><br /><!-- 1upcrlf2 -->Bonduel put up 223 yards on 37 carries en route to a 41-13 win over the Wolverines at Rush Niles Field.<br /><br /><!-- 1upcrlf2 -->"It's a good start. We wanted to look at some kids, so it's good we got a lot of them in there," said Bonduel coach James Westrich.
