Weyauwega-Fremont prefers a pistol to a shotgun.

The pistol offense that is.

When the Weyauwega-Fremont Indians arrive for Friday's Central Wisconsin Conference-8 varsity football game against Bonduel, they will run a pistol offense, which has the quarterback line up 4 yards behind the center (instead of the 7-yard drop in a typical shotgun formation).

"They will try to spread us out," Bonduel coach James Westrich said. "They want to get us to over-pursue and try to open up some cutback lanes."
