Ronald O. Robaidek

Ronald O. Robaidek, 77, Angelica. He died.

This is what Ron would have told you he wanted for his obituary. He felt he was “a man of few words.” However, anyone who knew him knew otherwise. Ron died peacefully on Oct. 15, 2016, surrounded by his family in the comfort of his home. The son of the late Virgilla and Julius Robaidek was born on Feb. 28, 1939, in Angelica.

Ron graduated from Pulaski High School in 1956. On June 17, 1961, he married Janice VanLannen. A wonderful marriage began that day. Two beautiful people joined as one who worked together to make living fun; two partners in life in both work and play. The couple raised their family, ran a dairy farm, and owned a farm equipment and silo business, Robaidek Silo Inc. He was a Jamesway dealer and won several awards for his sales achievements and his contributions to the agricultural industry. Ron sold the business and retired in 2004.
