Here is a look at some of the top performances in the area over the past week:

Zack Fehrman — Gresham/Bowler soccer

The junior was a goal-scoring machine for the Gresham/Bowler co-op over the last week. Fehrman netted two goals in a loss to Columbus Catholic on Aug. 30 before recording a hat trick in the team’s rout of Tri-County on Tuesday.

Kara Troxel — Bonduel cross-country

The sophomore turned in a pair of strong finishers over the last week. On Aug. 30, Troxel took second in the T-Bird Invitational, finishing the course in 21 minutes, 29.44 seconds. She followed that up with another second place finish in 22:14.90 at the Charger Invitational on Tuesday.

Brianna Foth — Clintonville swim

The sophomore swimmer posted a couple of top finishes at the Bay Conference Sprints Invite back on Aug. 30. Foth placed fourth in the 100-yard freestyle (1:01.50) and 50 freestyle (28.76) while also helping form the fifth place finishing 100 freestyle team.

Cole Schairer — Witt-Birn cross-country

The Wittenberg-Birnamwood junior posted a pair of top 15 finishes to lead the boys team over the past two meets. Schairer came in eighth at the Marathon Invitational with a time of 18:16.2 on Aug. 30 before earning 11th in a time of 19:20.61 at the Charger Invitational on Tuesday.

Lydia Beyer — Shawano cross-country

The sophomore placed eighth at the De Pere Invitational on Aug. 30, posting a time of 21:58.10. Beyer then earned a time of 22:41.37 to take sixth at the Charger Invitational on Tuesday and help the girls team to a second place finish.
