Kay S. Mallory

Kay S. Mallory went home to Jesus on Aug. 19, 2018, at The Lodge at Whispering Pines in Plover. Kay was born on Nov. 13, 1938, in Tilleda to George and Verna (Lotto) Reinert.

She graduated from Gresham High School in 1955 and attended the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. She was married to John Mallory, of Columbus, Ohio, on June 25, 1960. She was employed by the Stevens Point School Food Service for over 25 years. Kay and her husband enjoyed camping and were members of the Drifters and Valley Bummers camping clubs.

Kay is survived by her three daughters, Kristine Mallory (Brian) Johnson, Karen (Chuck) Scott and Jennifer (Andrew) Koplin; one sister, Georgiann (Gary) Vander Velden; two brothers, Dennis (Bernice) Reinert and Vernon (Donna) Reinert, nine grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, John; her parents; one brother, Lewellyn; her stepdaughter, Myra (Artie) Rogel; and two great-grandchildren Austin and August.

Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 23, 2018, at St. Bronislava Catholic Church at 3200 Plover Road, Plover. The Rev. Charlie Richmond will officiate. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at Pisarski Community Funeral Home at 2911 Plover Road, Plover, and from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services Thursday at the church.
