Robert J. Tucker

Robert John Tucker, age 83, of Neopit, passed away on Sunday, July 15, 2018, at his home. Robert was born in Keshena on Nov. 26, 1934, son of the late Elmer and Jenny (Dodge) Tucker. Robert served our country honorably in the United States Army. On Feb. 2, 1957, in Neopit, he was united in marriage to Violet James, who preceded him in death on July 20, 2014. Robert worked as a truck driver for Menominee Lumber Mill for many years. He later worked for Menominee Transit. Robert is a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Neopit.

He is survived by his children, Robert (Marissa) Tucker, of Cecil, Kevin (Jana) Tucker, of Neopit, Roberta “Sister” (Edward) Reiter, of Neopit, Danny Tucker Sr., of North Dakota, Shannon (Rose) Tucker, of Middle Village, Corey (Brandy), of Shawano, and Latoya (Timothy), of Green Bay; his grandchildren, Dallas, Ryan, Allen, Lucas, LeAsah, Reinlyn, Keri, Jennifer, Kevin, Kristofer, April, Jonathan, Manihsaeh, LeTisha, Violet, Mariah, Danny Jr., Todd-Michael, Brian, Omaha, Calvin, Walker, Shanica, Kaylee, Jade, Jenna, Brandi, Jared and Shannon Jr.; and numerous great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Violet; his son, Corey Tucker Sr.; a grandson, Grayson; and his parents.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 18, 2018, at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Neopit with the Rev. Joel Jores officiating. Military honors will be conducted by the Keshena American Legion Post 497/Veterans of the Menominee Nation. Visitation began at the Tucker residence, W6542 River St. in Neopit, on Monday, July 16, 2018, at 4 p.m. and will continue until the procession leaves for the church on Wednesday. A parish wake service was held at the family residence at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 17, 2018.
