Shawano takes fifth at conference tournament

Mueller fires 94 to lead Hawks

The Shawano boys golf team finished in fifth-place at the Bay Conference Tournament at Brown County Golf Course on Tuesday.

The Hawks earned a team score of 392, led by Alex Mueller’s 18-hole round of 94. Mueller’s strong day earned him a spot on the all-conference second team.

Trent Strebel and Karsten Anderson each earned spots on the honorable mention team after firing rounds of 96 and 98, respectively. Jack Czarapata (104) and Nick Sherman (109) helped round out the Hawks’ team score.

Xavier claimed the conference title with a score of 358. West De Pere’s Jamozzy Skenadore was the tournament’s medalist after firing a round of 76.
