Q How long have you been volunteering at Wolf River Lutheran High School?

A “I have been a volunteer for only a few months and find it rewarding to help when needed. If it fits my skill set, I am more than willing to do it.”

Q What do you do?

A “I have been working on tasks such as mailings for the school and organizing and setting up the kitchen and in the future will be helping at the receptionist desk when needed. I recently did mailings for a trivia event in March. If I have the skill set to complete a task, I’m your girl. The first day I walked in here felt like home. You feel really comfortable like I had been here forever. The students are amazing.”

Q What volunteer things did you do at St. James Lutheran Church?

A “I am a past member of the board of outreach with helps with St. James Lutheran Church missions. The board also worked at the Greeters Help to greet worshippers to make them feel welcome.”

Q Why do you volunteer?

A “I’ve been truly blessed over the years with a great family and many wonderful friends. Being retired I now have the time to give back to others and volunteer my time and talents. I’m a people person and I enjoy working with people of all ages. You are never too old to learn from others and it’s amazing what new relationships are formed. I always try each day to do at least one thing that makes me happy and volunteering certainly makes my day.”
