Curtis James Long

Curtis James Long, 60, of New Windsor, New York, passed away on Nov. 11, 2017. He was born to Leo G. Long and Yvonne M. (Vigue) Long at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Keshena on Feb. 16, 1957. He graduated from Shawano High School in 1975. Curt was a Jehovah’s Witness, and thank you to all of those who helped him on his road to life. He will be missed by all those who loved him.

He is survived by his wife, Annette (Narbonne) Long, whom he married on Aug. 6, 1999, in New York; his mother; siblings, Lynette Long and Richard Valentine and their children, Leanna and Jessy Geurts, Chelsea and Robert Vernon, Yvette (Long) and Robert Peguero and their children, Adriana Peguero and Jonathan Clinkscale and their children, Natia and Mateo Clinkscale, Christoper Peguero and Anthony Potter and their children, Adela and Alexander Potter-Peguero, Robert and Jessica Lucpke Peguero, and children, Lilly Cyrier, Mia Peguero Ricardo, Melissa Peguero and Gerardo Peguero, Russell and Tara Long, and their children, Clint, Cole, Camryn Long, Connie and Alex Peters, and their children, Marie Webster, Shadei and Adele Peter; his stepchildren Renee Narbonne and Carlos Castro, Andre and Isaac Narbonne; and grandson, Shane Goodshield.

He was preceded in death by Leo G. Long; sister, Lori A. Long and her son Cori Long; stepfather, Lloyd M. Waukau; grandparents, Paul J. Vigue, Emmarine Lyons, Virginia Olson and George Long; and uncle, Donald Long.

Memorial services will be held in New York and Shawano on Saturday, Nov. 25 at Newburgh Kingdom Hall, 23 Old Little Britain Road, Newburgh, New York, 6 p.m.; and Kingdom Hall’s of Jehovah Witnesses, N4764 Willow Lane, Shawano, 5 p.m.
