Mark A. Brede

Mark Allen Brede, born Nov. 9, 1957, to the late William and Rose Marie Brede of Bonduel, died July 9, 2017, at his home. Mark went to Milwaukee Lutheran and then went to Concordia in Nebraska. He moved out of Wisconsin 25-plus years ago. He moved to Illinois, then moved to Iowa. He worked at DeZee manufacturing for 16 years and worked at Tractor Supply part time. Mark was a guy who would help anyone in need of help. Always, willing to give advice.

Mark was a well-known guy all over for raising and showing beef. After selling his beef animals, he continued helping at the World Beef Expo, where he was the Maine-Anjou superintendent. He started raising and showing rabbits. He made a lot of friends wherever he went.

Mark is survived by his two brothers, David (Judi) Brede and Paul Brede; two nephews, Terry Brede and Colton (Ashley Pownell) Brede; two nieces, Tracie (Aaron Moeller) Brede and Courtney (Dustin Fletcher) Brede; and two great-nieces Trinity Brede and Adaline Brede.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Rose Marie Brede; his sister, Barbara; his best buddy, Mitzi; and his dear friend, Jean Clark (Blondie).

A celebration of his life will be held at 11:30 a.m. Nov. 11, 2017 at the Hartland Town Hall, W3454 County Road BE, Bonduel. In lieu of flowers, we will be making a donation in Mark’s memory to Shawano County livestock.
