Four fumbles proved costly as Menominee Indian fell, 48-12, to Wausaukee at home Friday.

Menominee Indian fumbled inside the Wausaukee 20-yard line twice in the first half, and all four fumbles happened on the Rangers’ side of the field.

“We were able to move the ball very well on the ground,” Eagles coach Chris Clache said, “but we could not come back from the turnovers.”

Menominee Indian rushed for 335 yards. Meshaen Waukau gained 182 yards on 26 carries. Norman Kakwitch had 79 yards on 11 carries. Waukau and Kakwitch each scored TDs.

Darius Wayka led the Eagles in receptions with two for 27 yards.
