Shawano defeated Green Bay West in three sets during a Bay Conference match Thursday.

The Hawks topped the Wildcats, 25-12, 25-19, 25-9.

The Hawks (11-4) remain undefeated at home, but coach Breanna Young sees room for improvement.

“Tonight wasn’t our best performance,” Young said, “but we were able to stay tough enough to finish strong in the last set. We will continue to work hard everyday in practice to prepare us for our next matchup.

“We’re looking forward to hitting the practice court hard tomorrow before we head to Clintonville for a tournament on Saturday.”

The game’s leaders were Bayleigh Laabs with 24 assists, Averi Vomastic with 10 kills and Kyra Klement with 12 digs.
