Bears improve to 3-0 for season

The Bonduel High School boys basketball team continued its hot start with a 55-31 win over Coleman in a nonconference game Monday in Coleman.

Hunter VanderLinden led an evenly distributed attack for the Bears (3-0) with nine points. Connor Rosin and Zach Zernicke added eight points each. Trevor Pedersen and Colton Dobratz each had seven points.

Eagles beat Oneida

The Menominee Indian High School boys basketball team beat Oneida 41-32 in a nonconference game Tuesday in Keshena.

Michael Pecore and Dustin Waupoose led the Eagles (1-0) with 10 points each.

Chargers edged by Mosinee

The Wittenberg-Birnamwood High School boys basketball team lost to Mosinee 57-40 in a game Tuesday in Mosinee.

Nick Kapitz led Wittenberg-Birnamwood (1-1) with 17 points. Aaron Monnot added 11. Tyler Milanowski had seven rebounds.

Matt Bolanda led Mosinee (1-1) with 15 points.

Bowler beats White Lake

The Bowler High School boys basketball team beat White Lake 67-22 in its season opener Monday in Bowler.

Thomas Kazik and Chase Nueske led the team with 12 points each. Cody Montez chipped in 11 points. Aaron Bestul had five rebounds.

Truckers beat by Waupaca

The Clintonville High School boys basketball team lost to Waupaca 62-35 in a game Tuesday in Waupaca.
