Kenneth E. Weso Sr.

Kenneth E. Weso Sr., 71 of Menominee County, started his journey home on Thursday, Sept. 26, 2013.

Kenneth was born Oct. 21, 1941, in Keshena, a son of the late Ellis and Margaret (Whitefish) Weso.

Ken was employed at the Vlasic Company in Bonduel and also worked in the woods. A true free spirit, Ken loved to fish and be in the woods.

Survivors include his children, Kenneth E. Weso Jr., Melanie Weso, Josephine Weso, Kenneth Thunder, Aaron Weso, Kendall Cleveland, Kathleen Cleveland, Patricia Cleveland, Ann Cleveland; along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He has a brother, Alvin C. Weso; a brother in-law, Fred Notinokey; and several nieces and nephews.

Ken was preceded in death by his sisters, Patty Ann and Marlene Notinokey.

Funeral services for Kenneth Weso Sr. will be held on Sunday, Sept. 29, 2013, at 2:30 p.m. at the Menominee Orthodox Church in Zoar. Pastor Carl Thompson will officiate. Interment will be in St Anthony’s Cemetery, Neopit.

Relatives and friends may call at the Fred Notinokey residence, W6635 County Highway M, Neopit, after 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, until the procession leaves for the church at 2 p.m. Sunday.
