Gresham jumped out to a 7-0 lead in the first inning against Alex Peters, but Will Corn came on to throttle Gresham the rest of the way.
Corn earned the win. Gresham’s Adam Carroll took the loss.
Sasweon Waukechon led the Chiefs offense with a grand slam homer in the sixth that gave the winners the lead for good. Aaron Waukau was three for four and Alex Peters was two for three.
Aric Quinney led Gresham, going two for four. Nate Ejnik added a double.
Clintonville 3, Marion 0
John Dunlavy tossed a shutout for Clintonville. Cody Reimer took the loss.
Clintonville’s Jesse Wiley went three for four. Dunlavy added a double.
Marion had four hits.
Leopolis 4, Bowler 0
Hunter Hoffman authored a two-hitter for Leopolis, striking out six, walking two. Paul Murphy took the loss for Bowler, allowing five hits, striking out 13 and walking four.
Leopolis scored twice in the first inning on hits by Tyler Dillenberg and Hoffman, a walk to Justin Reminger and a Bowler error. Two more runs came in the fifth on a Dillenberg hit, a walk to Reminger, another Bowler error and Kyle Hoffman’s sacrifice fly.
Dillenberg finished two for four. Reminger was one for one. Hunter Hoffman was one for four.
Bowler’s Andy Pierzchalski and Kyle Wolf each had a double.
Tigerton 12, Little Falls 8
Nick Desrochers was the winning pitcher, with Jerry Mork taking the loss.
Northern: Elderon beat Eland 9-0 and Aniwa swamped Wittenberg 14-6.
South-Central: Waupaca defeated New London 11-2 and Plover beat WeyMont 9-1.
