Gorman misses cut by 2 strokes

Shawano golfer Kaden Gorman missed the alternate cut by one stroke and the qualifying cut by two strokes for an American Junior Golf Association tourney next week in Wisconsin.

The MacArthur Towel and Sports Future Legends tournament will be held next week at The Legend of Brandybrook in Wales.

Gorman shot a 78 at the qualifying event, also held at The Legend of Brandybrook, taking seventh overall.

Sheboygan Falls’ Christopher Bachmann (72), Whitefish Bay’s Adam Dallimore (75), Mequon’s Charlie Maleki (75) and Sussex’s Austin Kendziorski (76) earned the four qualifying spots.

Adam Miller, of Lodi, and Francis Hewuse, of Tomah, both shot 77 to earn the two alternate spots.

Gorman won a Wisconsin Junior PGA tour event June 26 at Eagle River Golf Course.
