Dillenburg ousted as county fair manager

Leo Dillenburg is out as manager of the Shawano County Fair.

The Shawano County Agricultural Society's Board of Directors, voted 9 to 1 Wednesday night to terminate Dillenburg from the position he has held since January 2001.

The group has an agreement with Shawano County to manage the fairgrounds and the annual fair.

"The board decided to terminate Mr. Dillenburg due to a lack of confidence in his management," said Board president Dale Hodkiewicz. "The board had been negotiating with him to work out a settlement agreement, but we could not reach one that he would agree to so he was terminated."
